These will be exciting days for everyone with petrol in their veins. See you from September 24th to 27th, 2026, in Dortmund – secure your tickets now.
TECHNO CLASSICA SALON® presents Future Classics
Since autumn 2025, Future Classics has been the podcast format from Europe's largest classic car magazine, OLDTIMER MARKT, focusing on the classics of tomorrow. As hosts and founders of the podcast, Frank Otero Molanes and Jens Seltrecht are always there; the scene has long known them as the minds behind the podcast "Zwoaus11 – der Tiefgaragentalk" with over 400 episodes so far. From the OLDTIMER MARKT editorial team, Lukas Hambrecht, Dirk Ramackers, and Christian Steiger will join alternately.
Every Tuesday, these trend scouts talk about quirky, surprising models that no one in the established collector scene has on their radar yet. It's not just about the rich and famous (like the Maybach 57/62 or Mercedes S-Class W 220), but often about common models that can be bought for a song – the Renault Twingo, Opel Corsa B, or Ford Focus Mk 1 have all been featured. Or super-rare exotics like the Renault Wind. The Borgward BX 7. Does anyone remember that one?
Historically situating such cars is not always easy, but we at the TECHNO CLASSICA SALON think it's exactly the right thing to do. That's why we are supporting the format. Even better: The Future Classics team will produce an episode live at the TECHNO CLASSICA SALON with FranzImAuto as a guest.
When and where? We will let you know.
FranzImAuto is coming to the TECHNO CLASSICA SALON
We all love cars. FranzImAuto especially, in his own way. At home, he is somewhere between car culture, wrenching, racing, and controlled nonsense. Franz is a radio host, content creator, and hopeless fan of anything old, with wheels, and ideally smelling a bit of petrol. On social media, he takes his community into the world of classic and youngtimer cars, to the racetrack, to meetings, to the workshop, and regularly to places where no one actually wanted to go.
When we asked him, he said yes immediately. Because he loves cars just as much as we do, because he has his own perspective, and because he broadcasts it exactly as he sees it.
He will be there. He will be broadcasting. We all want to have a lot of fun that weekend.
Let's talk!
Everything at the TECHNO CLASSICA SALON revolves around cars. You can see them in every facet, exclusive and high-priced, but also quirky and affordable. Or a mix of both. But we believe a trade fair is above all a forum. A place to get into conversation with each other. Individually and very spontaneously, but also in planned, moderated rounds on very specific topics.
For example, this one: ADAC Klassik invites you to an open discussion, organized together with representatives of the world federation Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA). The topics are hot: It's about current bans on events, such as those that have just come into force in South Tyrol, as well as environmental zones and sustainability. Further aspects will be the registration of events with FIVA and the FIVA Identity Card. Club representatives and anyone interested in these topics are invited.
Date: Friday, September 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM; the location will be announced soon.
